TEHRAN – A Persian version of “Pride and Prejudice” authored by Laurence Sach based on English writer Jane Austen’s novel has recently been published by Chatrang Publications.

Translated by Saba Hasheminasab, the book is about Elizabeth Bennet who lives in a middle class family in 1900s in England. Her life is about to change when she meets young, wealthy and proud Mr. Darcy who is from an upper class family.
